Your captain Paul is a fully qualified and Commercially Endorsed RYA (Royal Yachting Association) Offshore Yachtmaster and your 1st Mate/Chef Melissa, in addition to her fabulous cooking skills, is also a fully qualified and Commercially Endorsed RYA Offshore Yachtmaster.
Paul and Melissa have a wealth of sailing and chartering experience in the Caribbean and on the US Atlantic coast. Between them they have logged in excess of 20,000 nautical miles. They are both MCA Seafarer Medical (ENG 1) certified, RYA Dinghy sailing instructors and are PADI Open Water Divers.
Paul is also a certified RNLI life guard which reinforces his Seafarer Medical training. Paul enjoys a range of water sports including windsurfing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and fishing for Tuna and Mahi Mahi. He is only to keen to help charter guests learn or improve their sailing and water sports skills.
In addition to her natural flair for cooking, Melissa gained her formal culinary training at the Rosie Davies Cookery School in the UK. Melissa enjoys preparing modern healthy European, Asian and Caribbean style dishes, and if you have some particular preferences, just tell her about them.Planning to bring the children? Great! Paul will take them off your hands and entertain them with beach games in and out of the water. Coming from a large family Paul has plenty of experience. Meanwhile Melissa will happily cater to the children’s tastes, so they too have a vacation to remember.
