Your Hosts

The two owners of the Bleu Turquoise are husband and wife. Each from separate professional backgrounds, they decided to join their credentials, qualifications and experience to start a new career and a new lifestyle. Together, they chose to leave the cold Canadian winters for the sunny Caribbean. Crewing charters in the BVI, whose waters they had grown familiar with over more than 10 years, proved the perfect complement to Michèle’s and Michel’s love of ocean sailing, adventure, good food, and fine company.

Michèle has always worked in marketing. She held a variety of management positions in various private firms and owned an advertising agency for 15 years. Thereafter, she joined the Académie Culinaire de Montréal, a teaching institution for the culinary arts, as Director of Communications and as the owner of one of their concessions. A fine cuisine enthusiast and dedicated food lover, she honed her culinary skills during her tenure at the school. She took various courses with Master Chefs and coordinated the publication of many articles in renowned food magazines. Needless to say, Michèle loves sailing. She and her husband have enjoyed numerous charter vacations with family, friends and guests. Michèle’s greatest pleasure is to bring dream vacations to life by personally customizing a relaxed and carefree cruise for each guest.

Michel’s entire career has been devoted to supporting the hospital, medical and surgical sectors. His business philosophy is deeply rooted in service, customer satisfaction and commitment. The rewarding experience acquired in these sectors nurtured his evolution as a businessman and administrator. His customer-driven approach enabled him to establish a reputation as a trustworthy and reliable professional in the health sector. Michel is a consummate yachtsman, schooled in navigation and piloting. Well qualified, with many miles of sailing experience to his credit and an intimate knowledge of the Caribbean waters, Michel will enhance your sailing vacation and make your safety of primary importance. Michel enjoys tailoring his extensive knowledge of the island waters and areas to visit to the individual desires and interests of his charter guests. These activities can vary from learning how to sail, island hiking and exploring to swimming and snorkeling the crystal clear water.

Michèle and Michel make you feel at home, while making sure your every need is attended to. They look forward to welcoming you and to making your holiday enjoyable to the fullest.
